Welcome

I would love to invite you into my home to have a cup of tea with me. We could sit in my sunny kitchen and talk about all the things that are going on in our lives. I could share with you the news I hear from my grown daughters. How my grandkids are growing. We could laugh together over the funny things that they have said. It would be fun to share the ins and outs of our family life, and talk about our latest creative projects. We could share what God has been teaching us, in our personal lives, and encourage each other on this walk of faith. We could pray together, laugh together, and even cry together. Since most of us will never be able to sit down together face to face, I would like to invite you to join me here. So come on in and have a cup of tea with me.

I am a 61 year old, wife, married to my best friend for 40 years. We have been blessed with 6 children, & 13 grandchildren. I love mentoring women in their spritual walk & in the everyday. I have a diverse background, having spent over 30 years living and ministering in a small South American country. Now my family resides in a small town in the lovely state of Tennessee. We have experienced the blessing of adoption, but also the hard of dealing with a child with RAD and other mental health issues. You can live life with the cup half full or half empty the choice is yours. I choose half full.

Special Prayer Request

Hello everyone! We are in Kansas, visiting with our family.

Over the last couple weeks, we have heard from the church in Manta, that the owner of the apartment and terrace that we rent for the church has been giving them fits. Last Sunday morning after the service, he, along with some of his relatives wanted to meet with some of the men in the church. The short of it all, is that he wants us out...

We are very thankful to the Lord for giving us such a great place to meet for the last 3 1/2 years. We are also very pleased with the attitude of the church. While the owner is not doing right, they have a wonderful attitude and have agreed with Tony that they want to do everything right, and not do anything that would reflect bad on the churches testimony. At this point they are checking out for some places to meet. Pray for them, that the Lord would lead them to just the right place. They are checking into hotels that might have a "conference room" or something like that, where they would just meet on Sundays and then meet in homes during the week.

All of this makes it even more important for us to raise the money and return in July ready to get started on the new building. At this time we are hoping to be able to get back and get a storage room, and bathrooms built, then we hope to buy a large tent and start meeting on the property, while we are in the process of building the main building.

Thank you for your prayers for the ministry in Manta, and for our family as we travel.

God Bless you as you serve Him!
